I found something new in Indeed.com. There is option for editing.

For as long as I can remember, I always had to edit the bullet points. Now it's nice and neat, copying and pasting.

What's Your Problem???

I binge on That 70's Show to take my mind off job hunting and that I still don't a have a job. I don't have money for Christmas and major bills coming up.


What is looming ahead. I won't have vacation. It's going to take me a year to accrue vacation. I need to travel to see my children. I need a job to fall back on when I come home.


I didn't leave my job voluntarily. My job just ended. I couldn't find a better position.


This week I applied to 5 jobs.


Last Friday I had a great interview. There was good conversation up to the interview. There was great excitement. I even connected to these people on LinkedIn. I tried to sell myself to this company on LinkedIn; I showcased my work experience. And then dead silence.


I finally gave in. I emailed the person who started the whole thing. They hired someone internally. Thanks for the news flash.


I keep reading these posts on LinkedIn, Stop looking for perfect!


All I know I am doing what I am supposed to be doing.


I have to apply for 4 jobs per week.
I tweak my resume to each job I apply.
I network on LinkedIn.
I prepare for interviews.
I showcase my job experience on my blog and share my post on LinkedIn.
I have 3 friends I can count on and network with too.


I am supposed to be frustrated. I have a lot at stake.


How I can be a role model? How can I advise them how to find a job when I can't.

These are my reasons for finding a job.

We are having the worst year.


My husband died. Leaving my 19 year old in charge. He has been looking after his father's house, affairs, and he is taking care of his sister He also took charge of the funeral.

My son insisted on waiting for me to come over for the funeral.

My dear husband, friend, father of my children, laid waiting for 3 months.

We agreed to go on with our plan, me going back. My son and daughter continue until they entered the university.

I still had a job. I couldn't just quit my job. We needed the only income left.

My son arranged to have a graduation party for my daughter.

This fall my son and daughter entered a university. My daughter didn't get admission right away. My son made arrangements for my daughter to stay at the school until her admission.

Here's my son carrying a load, studies at school, managing his father's affairs, managing the apartment, family affairs, and his taking care of his sister.

Here I am stuck with out a job. I really don't want to take just any job.

My job was supporting me and the affairs of my children.

I deserve a good job, with a good pay rate.
I worked hard at my job for my son and daughter.

This is my son and daughter assuring me that they are doing great, and waiting for me to arrive for the funeral.

Bracelets Progress Report

Here is the latest creations.

I had the hardest time finding a way to secure the ends. I looked at the instructions and advice, that didn't help me. I had to keep working on it until I found my own way.

I finally learned to guess the length of the string to use for a bracelet.

I had to rework a few bracelets, because I was unsatisfied with the design. Also a few broke. That just gave a chance to create something better.

Flat Out

One Saturday, I was leaving work.

I knew I needed a new tire, but I thought I had time.

I started to hear, that bad sound of a flat tire flapping.

I pulled over to figure out what to do. I was in dangerous part of the highway to change the tire.

I thought I was current with my AAA membership. I called them. Found out my membership was not current. For $$$ I could get renewed. Then they will send someone to help me. I only had $8.00 in my account. So that was a deadend.

Then I called 911. The dispatcher said nobody is going come to change my tire for me. That's not the only reason I called 911, so I could get protection from a police officer, so nobody could hit and run me.

As soon as the dispatcher said nobody is going to come, a police officer came. He got right to helping me.

Then the police officer put on the spare tire. Then I realized there's no air in the spare tire. Back to the same problem. I have no way to get home.

On top of all that, my cellphone battery was dying. I accidentally called a woman from work, hoping she made it home already.

I tried my best to tell her everything that was going, and I needed air.

Guess what, her husband dropped whatever he was doing.

Before I knew it, he came, filled up the tire, and he was gone. He was faster than Superman! I didn't even get to thank him.

I really took a big chance on this woman and her husband. They lived 1/2 away from work. They lived on my route to work. And they have been to my house. I was thinking if things didn't work out. They would help me get home.

My phone was on the last bit of energy. The screen was so dark. I managed to get the help I needed.

I thought it was a stupid idea to call this lady.  She's not going to be home. Her husband wasn't going to be home. They didn't have an air compressor. My cellphone was dying. The police officer wasn't going to help.

I think he could have found me a way to charge my phone or let me call on his phone.

I took a leap of faith. I survived.

That's why I have reasons of having 2 of everything.

2 pairs of house and car keys
2 power banks charged

And keep a closer eye on the tires.

I'm prepared for emergencies.

In a group of anemonefish, a strict dominance hierarchy exists. The largest and most aggressive female is found at the top. Only two anemonefish, a male and a female, in a group reproduce – through external fertilization. Anemonefish are sequential hermaphrodites, meaning they develop into males first, and when they mature, they become females. If the female anemonefish is removed from the group, such as by death, one of the largest and most dominant males becomes a female. The remaining males move up a rank in the hierarchy.

Omicron, Restaurant Review

I went to the restaurant, Omicron.

It doesn't look like a good restaurant from the outside. It was beautiful and spacious inside.

I do know it's always busy.

I was greeted and seated immediately.

It was about 4:30 pm, it was pretty busy. Still had lots of room.

I sat in a booth facing the windows, with a street view. I was able watch the sunset.

I ordered, the seafood platter and a side of onion rings.

The seafood platter dinner came with, bread, fries, and salad.

The salad came first, it was large bowl of bite sized lettuce pieces, sliced tomatoes, and shredded cabbage and carrots.

Then came the onion rings, a huge plate of big golden onion rings.

Soon after that, came the seafood platter.

I never really got to finish my salad, or onion rings. I was surprised with everything each time a new dish came. I was so surprised how big everything was.

The platter had 4 deep fried crab bites, 2 pieces each of deep fried cod and perch, and 4 deep fried shrimp. Also big serving of french fries.

Everything was big, from the salad, to the pieces of seafood. I couldn't finish everything.

Meal includes desert. I had to ask for a take out box to bring my desert and everything I couldn't finish home.

My bill was 21.00.

The restaurant has a huge menu, has lots to choose from. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

If you have a craving for something, I think they have it or something close to it.
